FBS Superior stabil® Heat-Inactivated, 100 ml

FBS Superior stabil® Heat-Inactivated is a standardised, natural FBS with consistently high quality and reproducibility. The serum is pre-tested and has batch-to-batch variations of only +/- 10%. It is characterised by stable cell growth and high reproducibility with every batch. You therefore only need to test our FBS Superior stabil® once and can save yourself further time-consuming batch tests. This serum is treated with heat (56°C, 30 min) to inactivate all possible infectious components and ensure maximum safety. In addition, active serum components such as the complement system, antibodies and enzymes are inactivated. However, essential cell growth proteins such as growth factors or vitamins are not damaged.  

FBS Superior stabil® is tested for viruses/mycoplasma and has a ultra low endotoxin content (< 1 EU/ml).

Standardisation

We test the performance of our FBS Superior stabil® by cultivating different cell lines. Our acceptance criterion: There may be a maximum of three deviations of 10% in the number of cells, proliferation time, plating efficiency and cloning efficiency. Our pre-testing guarantees you the highest quality of our FBS Superior stable®. You only need to test it once on your cells and can assume that the next batch of FBS Superior stable® will work just as well due to the marginal deviation. All equivalent batches are characterised by a very low endotoxin content (ultra low endotoxin < 1 EU/ml).
