FBS Activated Carbon/Dextran Treated Serum, 500 ml

FBS activated charcoal/dextran treated, EU approved.

Serum is heated with the addition of dextran and activated charcoal. The substances bound to the activated charcoal are removed by filtration and centrifugation.

 
Application of serum treated with activated charcoal and dextran:

    Working with reduced growth factors (no differentiation).
    Working with reduced hormone content (steroids)
    Receptor studies
    For experiments requiring only minimal variations of the serum
