Product information

FBS High Performance is a specially developed FBS with a significantly reduced serum content. Our product is manufactured by combining natural FBS (20%) with specific growth factors in a highly concentrated synthetic form. Through an additional chromatographic process to remove endotoxins (lipopolysaccharides), FBS High Performance provides a virtually defined serum with reduced batch to batch variation. This product represents a more sustainable alternative to natural FBS and shows consistent or even improved properties in cell cultivation. In addition, the reduced serum content contributes to animal welfare.

In the USA, the strictest quality requirements are met during FBS extraction, which means that our FBS High Performance US offers you the highest quality and safety. FBS High Performance US is guaranteed free from: Mycoplasma, viruses (BVDV, BHDV1, PI-3), fungi and bacteria and is suitable for cultivating a wide range of very demanding cell lines such as primary cells, stem cells, mesenchymal cells and epithelial cells.
