5x Hot-Start Multiplex PCR Mastermix is an optimized, ready-to-use solution for precise and reliable multiplex hot-start polymerase chain reactions (PCR) with subsequent visualization by agarose gel electrophoresis. The mastermix is 5x concentrated and contains all components for efficient PCRs (hot-start Taq DNA polymerase, reaction buffer, MgCl2, and dNTPs) in optimal concentrations (5x). All you need to do is add your desired template DNA, primers, and water, and you can start DNA amplification immediately. The master mix contains a specific buffer system that allows parallel detection of 5-10 targets.

The included Hot-Start Taq DNA polymerase is a further development of our thermostable Taq DNA polymerase (isolated from the thermophilic bacterium Thermus aquaticus). Due to an introduced modification, the enzyme activity of our Hot-Start Taq DNA polymerase is only released after a single incubation at 95°C for 15 min.
