CHO Medium - serum-free, 500 ml

CHO Medium is a serum-free, ready-to-use medium for optimized growth of Chinese hamster ovary (CHO) cells in suspension culture. The protein-free, chemically defined medium consists of a balanced mixture of salts, amino acids, vitamins, and trace elements and has been enriched with stable L-glutamine, HEPES, iron citrate, Pluronic™, and ultrafiltrated yeast extract. CHO cells are often used for the production of recombinant proteins for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes.

Our CHO Medium is suitable for small-scale in vitro cell culture of CHO cells and as a perfusion medium to increase production yield in bioproduction and ultimately for clinical-scale production. It accelerates the adaptation of your CHO cells during the transition from in vitro cell culture to production in perfusion bioreactors and offers a highly efficient and cost-saving solution for increased production yields in perfusion systems.
