The ready-to-use Freeze Protect IV freezing medium contains FBS and 10% DMSO and is optimized for freezing animal and human cells (adherent and suspension cells). It contains no human or animal components and is particularly recommended for cells from serum-free cultures. This composition guarantees a high survival rate and excellent cell growth after thawing. Contains phenol red.
