PCR troubleshooting and optimisation made easy: the S-Solution

The S-Solution prevents the rapid re-annealing of template DNA with GC-rich regions. This allows the primers to anneal more precisely and the PCR yields are larger and of higher quality. The background to this is the influence on the melting temperature of the DNA via stereochemical binding of the S-solution.

The same applies to complex secondary structures such as loops or long, frequent repeats.

Application

Bio&SELL's S-Solution can also be used in cDNA synthesis (reverse transcription) or RT-PCR. Whether in first-strand synthesis or primer-specific PCR. Whether in a ready-mix or single component. Simply pipette to the reaction without changing the other reaction conditions.

In dirt preparation as an additive, the S-Solution reduces the background and significantly improves the analytical quality.
