Our BioColl® separation solution* contains neutral, highly cross-linked polysucrose with an average molecular weight of 400,000 Da. This hydrophilic polymer can be used to prepare aqueous solutions of various densities (up to approximately 1.2 g/ml) for the isolation of cells or subcellular particles. The appropriate density of the BioColl® separation solution is selected based on the particle type. A density of 1.077 g/ml is ideal for the isolation of lymphocytes. Our product also contains 10 mM HEPES.
