Erythrocyte lysis buffer, 500 ml

Our special erythrocyte lysis buffer enables the selective lysis of red blood cells. The erythrocyte lysis buffer has been optimized for the lysis of red blood cells from EDTA-, citrate-, or heparin-treated whole blood, buffy coats (PBMCs, leukocyte films), and bone marrow, and has minimal effects on lymphocytes when used as directed.

The erythrocyte lysis buffer is 1x concentrated (ready-to-use) and contains ammonium chloride. Ammonium chloride lyses red blood cells. Cells with nuclei are not effectively lysed by ammonium chloride.
