FBS Superior stabil® Heat-Inactivated, 100 ml

FBS Superior stabil® Heat-Inactivated is a pre-tested, standardized, natural FBS with minimal batch-to-batch variation (+/- 10%) and is characterized by stable cell growth and high reproducibility in every batch. Save yourself time-consuming batch testing. Thanks to minimal batch-to-batch variation, you only need to test FBS Superior stabil® Heat-Inactivated once.

This FBS Superior stabil® has been heat-treated (56°C, 30 min). Heat inactivation of serum is suitable for inactivating interfering components such as complement system proteins, antibodies, active enzymes, or vitamins. Heat-inactivated FBS is particularly suitable for immunological studies, studies on the complement system, or vitamin studies. It is also suitable for the cultivation of sensitive cell lines or for screening certain viruses or for virus propagation.

We inactivate our FBS using a carefully controlled process for 30 min at exactly 56°C for 30 min. After 30 minutes, the FBS is immediately cooled to RT to avoid excessive heat exposure and damage to important growth factors. FBS Superior stabil® is also tested for viruses/mycoplasma and has a very low endotoxin content (Ultra Low Endotoxin < 1 EU/ml).
