Human serum off-the-clot, type AB Male is obtained exclusively from whole blood of male donors of blood group AB and is free of anti-A and anti-B antibodies. For this reason, it does not react with other blood groups and undesirable immune reactions are minimized. The blood coagulates naturally at room temperature (without anticoagulants). The blood clot is then removed and the serum is purified by depth and membrane filters. The serum contains many growth factors, vitamins, nutrients, trace elements and transport factors. Pooled serum from one donor sex reduces variations in the end product. Therefore, this serum is of consistently high quality and is particularly recommended for immunological and hematopoietic studies.
