Human serum, Type AB Male, is derived exclusively from the plasma of male donors with blood type AB and is free of anti-A and anti-B antibodies. For this reason, it does not react with other blood types, and the risk of adverse immune reactions is minimized. Calcium chloride is added to the plasma to induce coagulation. Cellular and solid components of the plasma are removed by centrifugation. The serum is then washed, concentrated, and filtered. The serum contains numerous growth factors, vitamins, nutrients, trace elements, and transport factors. Pooled serum from donors of the same sex reduces variations in the final product. Consequently, this serum is of consistently high quality and is particularly recommended for immunological and hematopoietic studies.

Humanes Serum besteht ausschließlich aus humanen Bestandteilen. Eine Verwendung von humanem Serum ermöglicht daher die Herstellung von physiologischen und natürlichen in vivo-Bedingungen auch in der in vitro-Zellkultivierung.

3. Was ist Human Serum (Definition)?

Humanes Serum wird aus menschlichen Blutplasma gewonnen. Unter Blutserum versteht man den wässrigen Teil des Plasmas welcher nicht gerinnt bzw. nach der erfolgten Blutgerinnung als gelbliche Flüssigkeit übrigbleibt.

4. In welchen Bereichen wird humanes Serum verwendet?

Humanes Serum wird vor allem in der Zelltherapie- und Immuntherapie-Forschung sowie beim Tissue engineering etc. verwendet.

5. In welcher Konzentration sollte humanes Serum eingesetzt werden?

Wir empfehlen dem Zellkulturmedium Serum in einer Konzentration zwischen 5% und 20% zuzugeben (Für die Zellkultivierung).

6. Wie erfolgt die Adaption der Zellen an das humane Serum?

Wir empfehlen eine schrittweise Adaption. Kultivieren Sie die Zellen innerhalb der ersten 4-6 Tage mit einem 10%-igen Gemisch aus FBS und Human Serum (5% Human Serum und 5 % FBS). Im Anschluss können Sie die Zellen mit 5-20% Human-Serum kultivieren.
