FBS Heat-Inactivated: Heat inactivation of serum is suitable for inactivating interfering components such as complement system proteins, antibodies, active enzymes, or vitamins. We inactivate our FBS using a carefully controlled process for 30 minutes at exactly 56°C. After 30 minutes, the FBS is immediately cooled to room temperature to avoid excessive heat exposure and damage to important growth factors.
