FBS Ultra Low Endotoxin undergoes critical selection and, after additional treatment, contains almost no endotoxins of bacterial origin (endotoxin content < 1 EU/ml). FBS Ultra Low Endotoxin is characterized by increased transfection efficiencies and increased reproducibility of experiments due to reduced batch variations. Our sera are tested for endotoxin content using the kinetic limulus amoebocyte lysate test, also known as the LAL test.
