Blood DNA Midi Kit

For reliable isolation of DNA from 0.5 to 2 ml whole blood.

The column-based kit contains a specially adapted lysis buffer system including Proteinase K and all other buffers required for binding, washing and eluting the DNA. Two protocols are available for processing different total blood output volumes (0.5 - 1 ml or 1 - 2 ml whole blood).

The yield is between 10 and 50 µg DNA depending on the amount of whole blood used. The recommended elution volume is between 200 µl and 400 µl and can be precisely adjusted to the subsequent application depending on the DNA concentration required.
