si/ miRNA Kit

For the isolation of siRNAs and miRNAs from tissue samples, cells or bacteria.

With the si/ miRNA kit, microRNAs (miRNAs, 20-25 nucleotides) and siRNAs (small interfering RNAs) of various origins can be isolated:

    Gram+ or gram- bacteria
    Tissue samples or biopsies up to 20 mg
    Cell cultures up to 5 x 106 cells
    Tissues embedded in paraffin

The kit is enormously fast; the preparation time is 15-30 min. These times are achieved because no DNAse digestion is necessary.

In addition, the kit guarantees excellent RNA yields of 100 µg at the highest purity.

Ich habe nach der Extraktion keine RNA detektiert?

Falls Sie nach der Extraktion keine RNA detektieren können, kann es sein, dass die RNA zu gering konzentriert ist. Wir empfehlen Ihnen entweder die Menge des Ausgangsmaterials zu erhöhen oder die RNA nach der Extraktion zu fällen. Fällen Sie die RNA mit einer 30:1-Mischung aus absolutem Ethanol und 3M NaAcetat. Resuspendieren Sie die RNA, nach einem Waschschritt mit 70%-igem Ethanol, in 5-10 µl RNase freiem Wasser. Danach sollte Ihre RNA-Konzentration hoch genug sein um detektiert werden zu können.
